GE Supplier Development strategy is based on “identifying local Nigerian Companies with capabilities that are aligned to their needs or those that have adjacencies”
The various International fairs held by GE in Amsterdam,Shanghai, Busan, Houston,Chicago, Abuja, Lagos brought together about 300 companies from Nigeria, Angola and South Africa onto GE local Supplier Development Plan to interact with about 100 Global Suppliers
At the Supplier Forum in Boston, Gincoc Nigeria Limited met with, had discussions and opened up the process of establishing relationship with an American Company, Level 3 Associates. Level 3 Associates is a Non Destructive Test (NDT) Services provider Company based in Atlanta, a GE Global Supplier, an attendee and a participant at the GE Supplier Forum. The discussions have yielded a Technical Partnership relationship between both Companies. Gincoc Nigeria Limited and Level 3 Associates have been on boarded as GE approved Vendors and Level 3 Associates is looking forward to work with Gincoc in Nigeria providing NDT Services and localizing their capabilities to further drive the transfer of knowledge and local skills development.
